PAST EVENTS AND WORKSHOPS

Tree grafting workshop                                      26TH MARCH 2022

At this tree grafting workshop you will learn techniques of this horticulture practice to propagate fruit trees.

Grafting is the practice of taking twigs or buds of one tree and fusing them to a branch or stem of another tree. It's thousands of years old and ensure the trees produce the delicious fruit we want.

We will be using woodstock cut down from the M25.

If you are interested please contact theionian.a38@gmail.com

APPLE TREE PLANTING WORKSHOP                            19TH FEBRUARY 2022

In our oak tree field we want to create a small orchard. To do this

we will be planting the apple trees collected in Nibley on the 18th February, but need a helping hand to do so.

We are looking for 12 volunteers to help us start our orchard. Planting will require two people per tree. It will bring an opportunity to learn about farm diversification, soil care and tree planting.

To volunteer or enquire please email theionian.a38@gmail.com
